folk and haggis: scottish dinner & live folk music
Live a Scottish evening so rich in tradition that even I’m impressed — and that’s rare. Very rare.

Your night begins with the unmistakable call of the bagpipes, played by a piper in full Highland attire.
You’ll even get a chance to take a photo with him.
Go on — immortalise yourself… take even more photos you’ll never look at again. Humans love collecting memories they immediately forget.
After the reception, you’ll be guided to the dining room for a traditional three-course Scottish meal.
A proper dinner — cooked with care, history, and absolutely no shortcuts.
Miracles do happen.

Throughout the meal, two local musicians will perform a live Scottish folk concert.
Expect ballads, lively tunes, and stories about where the songs come from, because culture doesn’t magically appear — someone has to drag it into your ears.
To end the evening, we’ll raise a whisky toast.
An expert will introduce the whisky, share its history, and explain why Scots treat it with more respect than most people treat their own relatives.
If whisky isn’t your thing, there’s Irn Bru — bright orange, suspiciously fizzy, and looking exactly like a potion I’d never dare drink.
And yet humans love it. Fascinating.
Whether it’s your first time in Scotland or you’re reconnecting with heritage you didn’t know you had, this immersive experience will leave you with memories… good ones, shockingly enough.
A deeper connection to Scotland’s people, music, and traditions is guaranteed — even for the most hopeless mortals.
A FEW THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
SCHEDULE
We run this experience every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday — all year long.
It starts at 6:45 pm and finishes around 9:15 pm — assuming humans manage to sit, eat and enjoy music without wandering off.
We also offer private evenings and group bookings. If you want one, send us an email. Go on — surprise us by planning ahead for once.
MEETING POINT
Your evening begins at 6:45 pm, right outside Biblos Restaurant, 1 Chambers Street, EH1 1HR
Look for the piper.
You’ll hear him before you see him — music echoing through the street.
You cannot miss him. If you do… well, that’s on you.
PRICES
Mortals come in different sizes, so here’s how it works:
- Ages 0–3: Free — they don’t eat, they just exist.
- Ages 4–11: £40 — includes the kids’ menu, small portions for small humans.
- Ages 12–17: £60 — almost adults, almost sense… but they eat, so they pay.
- Ages 18–99: £79 — fully grown mortals with fully grown appetites.
Immortals, witches and wandering spirits… we’ll negotiate. I’m sure we can come to some “agreement.”
